Darko Sinko (1979) je diplomiral iz filmske režije na AGRFT v Ljubljani.  Režiral in produced several documentaries, e.g. Critical generation and Little houses (co-director). His short film Schoolmates received Vesna award for the best screenplay at the Slovenian Film Festival 2015. Inventura je njegov prvi celovečerni igrani film.
